So, why The Essex Catering Company? After careful consideration and several very nice tasting sessions, while looking for a catering partner, we settled on the ones we felt provided the best value for money in terms of portion size, flavour and choice, and quality of food. The Essex Catering Company were easily one of the best and as soon as we spoke with them and tried some of their options, they couldn't be beaten. We chose one other partner to work with, that you can find out about further down this page, but they provide a different catering style and options. For now, we'll continue to look at The Essex Catering Company and show you some of the most popular options we have people order.

Dean Light, is the caterer we use. A professional chef with more that 24 years in the industry who started off at the Hilton on Park Lane London He has a huge passion for creating distinct and colourful dishes that hit the fine line of flavour balance and the togetherness of each dish.

 

Dean has worked in some of London’s most prestigious and exclusive establishments. In some of the toughest and sort after kitchens his repertoire grew immensely and he went on to head up his own kitchens. One day he was approached to be a personal chef to some of the most high profile music bands and celebrities. Oasis, Phil Collins, Pet shop boys, Kylie Minogue, Andy Williams (his very last tour), Shakira, Spice girls and many more to name. He was then approached to go and run a large and exclusive events company.

Working Lunch

A delightful selection of freshly baked breads that are lavishly filled with a seasonal selection of meats, fish, and vegetarian fillings. 

Served with two 'chef's' choice of finger food items.

Sliced cakes and seasonal fruit platter.

The Working Lunch

£10.00 per person

A selection of freshly made triangle sandwiches complemented by a range of Artisan freshly baked breads and generously filled with seasonal selections of meat, fish, and vegetarian fillings.

Served with crisps and fresh cut fruit.

Minimum 8 persons.

Buffet

£10.95 per person

An assortment of sandwiches, mini Cornish pasties, a variety of quiche fingers, smoked salmon, chive and cream cheese croutes, sliced seasonal fruit platter, and a slice tea cake selection.

Our other catering partner is D'Lights Event Catering. They offer more unique catering options, so while you can still get a BBQ Menu option or finger buffet, they style of food is a little different. You can choose from the likes of Lemon & Sichuan Pepper Chicken, Smoked Honey & Saffron Spatchcock Quail, and Tamarind Lamb Cutlet.

D'Lights offer superb catering options that are more tailored towards larger events and those looking for a high-end eating experience or something out of the norm. We have detailed a few options they offer below, but again, there is a lot more options available and for a full list, please get in touch.
